Rocking horse quilt
 

One of the other things i've been working - with 3 babies due to family and friends this month - i made the design a few years ago when a friend was having a baby but chose not to know if it was a boy or girl. I have used so many different fabrics for the bits and pieces over the years making more of this one. It doesn't show up well - but quilting is SID around all the hand applique - then stars in the open areas...with one outline of Texas in the corner. This is so cute. I saw one similar years ago but it was so far above me at the time. I am sure the proud parents will cherish this one.
