My Rose of Sharon, that I made for my friend Sharon. It looks so nice here on my wall that I am going to have to make myself one.

Yes you are!! I made about five quilts that were all the same size so I could switch them out on my "spot on the wall" as the mood strikes me. :-)

I can see why you want one for yourself! It's beautiful.

Gorgeous....the colors are awesome. Giving away a quilt is always bittersweet for me....like sending them out and hoping they are loved as much as I love them

I have a question! I have the book & am reading how to's. She says uses rubber cement, & I have some, from my DH's leather studio, to experiment with. My question is, she does mention washing it out later, so I am thinking it stay in your fabric, right? Am thinking this is not a good thing either. So, how do you all do yours & what do you use? Just curious, as I like this book & enjoy trying different methods. So, tell me what you think, okay! Lovely quilt by the way!

janie3954 06-07-2011 08:31 AM

I used the fuse method, then I used the blanket stitch on my machine to finish the edges.
