Roses on the Breeze
4 Attachment(s)
This has to be one of my favorite quilts ever. waiting its turn to be finished since 2006. It will be in an art show this weekend.
The original pattern is from Quilt Magazine, 2005 or 6 and the name of the pattern is The Wave Salute by Leigh Headington, Margaret Pate and Diane Coleman. www.thesweetteagirls.com Some people on the QB have made this pattern in the red, white and blue with yellow stars.I took a few liberties with the pattern and turned it into Roses on the breeze. The breeze brings the scent of roses through the window pane close look at the piecing pieced backing a close up of what I would consider a perfect match of the fabric seam down the center of the back. I love this quilt and hope you enjoy it too. peace |
