Round Robin my way ...

2 Attachment(s)
I have always wanted to try a quilt done like a round robin. I didn't have anything in mind when I started this except that I wanted a certain color way that was purchases lurking around in my stash for a few years with no real purpose. There was no pattern just ideas and truthfully, it isn't how I imagined it yet. I have a few rounds to go and because I started out with a rectangle, it is not the shape I want yet.

This is a challenging work in progress .... Ha ha to say the least. The close up picture is a truer color but the other one shows the outer edges. So I hope you don't mind my showing them both.

That is very pretty. Good luck finishing it to your liking. :-)

Very pretty Red. I just love the colors your working with. There's a Round Robin here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/blocks-...g-t236801.html That has some wonderful ideas for borders if your interested. Lots of inspiration also.

One of ladies in our friendship group had your colors. Everybody stayed with her original square.

Thank you girls so much! I am not sure what the next row is, but, I have many more of the darker purple blocks made. I am trying to put those into the last rows somehow.

This is absolutely SO pretty. I love the colors - and the "movement"...your eye can just wander around and look at all the different interesting bits. I will really be looking forward to seeing where you go with it. Thanks for sharing.
