I have not done anything for the past couple of weeks! Had company from California - which I dearly LOVE, but everyone had to go. I was a little depressed over the sudden quiet but I am at work now and it was really nice because all the guys (I work with a bunch of men) said that they missed me. My mom helped me with my fabric for Barbsbus's border and I have the design. I will be working on it over the next couple of weeks. I think it will be really cute!

btw - My quilt is MINE - hahahaha, I don't even think I will let my dh use it, it is all MINE!!! :D

I'm glad you like it. I was a bit worried at first, but once I started, it all came together.
I was REALLY careful with the points. Made sure ALL of them were perfect. Well, all but one is, but not taking it out. ;)

I don't really think I outdid myself on it, but we will see what comes along.

Can't wait for the next one to get here. :)

Terri and Cordelia, they look beautiful!

I got Dawn's center from Cordelia today.
Can't wait to get it done.
Have to finish off Sunbonnet Sue first.
We are ahead of schedule on these, so I do have plenty of time.
I know EXACTLY what I'm going to do! :)

Terri,
You may have plenty of time but I don't have plenty of patience.
I love watching these Round Robin quilts and every day check for new pics.

So.....do you have a picture yet?

LOL

MJ

Patience!
You gotta give me some time!
The border I want to put on it is going to take some doing.
Not telling what the border is either.
That's a secret! :)

You know, Purplemem...
Next time we do this, YOU should join in!

Terri,
I fear you may be right. I might join in, but I am such a novice quilter all my borders would be 4-patch!
Part of what is so fun for me is learning the new stuff ya'll do. I have been so intrigued with whatever comes next, because what I do is so simple right now.

However, this has helped me to be brave and do more.
Enjoy!

Don't be scared. The border I put on Cordelia's, I had never attempted before. Took some EXTRA time and patience to do it and I'm so happy with the way it came out.
There are a few sites online where you can find border patterns. In fact, that's where the next border is coming from. NOT telling which one either. lol

Sure! No problem!
Just come out here and we can do it together. If you start to feel stressed, we can visit the little restaurant down the road and have a drinky poo or 2, then maybe lay on the beach. Sound like a plan?
