I have been working on this quilt as a gift for my friend Mary. She has had a world wind romance and surprised everyone by eloping in January. They are having a formal ceremony in may. So I thought they would enjoy this. It's their colors. My husband says its to busy but I like it. Getting back to this after staining my cabinets (pic in chit chat). :-D

Actually it sounds like it kind of fits her. Sort of a TATW in a whirlwind. Maybe that's what you could name it--Whirlwind Trip Around the World or just Whirlwind Trip. Anyway, it's a beautiful quilt and I'm sure that they'll both love it.

Thanks everyone! My points aren't perfect on a handful but most of them are accurate. I am not a perfectionist but I do want it to look good...Made so many and didn't want to start tearing apart.

The closeup looks more busy than the whole thing all together...that looks like a mosaic...like it!
