I'm starting a ruler QAYG class this month and hope mine will be as nice as yours. I did Janet Collins sampler quilt and it was difficult to work on whole quilt and am really looking forward to doing blocks and then putting together as I think I will have more control. Beautiful job and great colors.

Wow, that is fantastic.

Looks beautiful, Donna. I do like your colour choice. Is that the first ruler work you have ever done? I do love Pam's classes. She really does walk you through the steps.

Yes, this was my first try at ruler works. I looked forward to each class, and had lots of time to practice, also once you take the class you can download the lesson and the tips and techniques, and that way you can refer to the downloads whenever you want. I did all the ruler work on my Bernina.

Very pretty.

Great job. I'm very impressed.I love your color choices. I've of course seen ruler work demonstrated at several quilt shows, I've often said "someday", but after your thread and seeing your work I'm inspired. Thank you for sharing.

Wonderful work! I would love to take a class like that.

It turned out great! I've thought about using a QAYG technique with blocks that have been quilted using ruler work. Yours is very inspiring. What rulers were you using?

Thanks for your nice comment, and to answer your question, I found a sampler package of the original Westalee rulers, I don't remember how much they cost, but I do believe there were 6 rulers and they weren't too expensive. If you contact Pam at my sassy notions.com - I know she would be happy to help you.
