I like it. It is interesting and unique. What more could you want?

osewme 10-23-2016 03:44 AM

Such a great way to emphasize the running stitches. Thanks for sharing this piece with us.

Very creative...I like that the running stitches are in different colors within the block...it makes it more interesting.

kaelynangelfoot 10-23-2016 04:49 AM

Its definitely a quilt. Quilts come in all shapes and sizes, from miniature to table runners to wall hangings to king size AND BEYOND! ...sorry, my inner Buzz Lightyear made an appearance there....

In any case, if it has three layers (batting, backing, top) and the three layers are stitched together (the process of quilting) then its a quilt. And yours is quite lovely!

What a fun little quilt! (I'd call it a doll quilt.) What type of thread did you use? Sure is cute!

sawsan 10-23-2016 06:18 AM

Mostly DMC 8 and some same brand but number 25

Thank you

I like how you quilted your small offering. The running stitches look good.

nativetexan 10-23-2016 06:50 AM

Oh isn't that cute? love it. gives the quilt (no matter what the size) texture. Great idea.

Thanks for the info. I have also heard them called Mini Quilts. I like to make them by making one block and setting it on point. I am going to borrow your idea and quilt one with a running stitch. Yours is so very cute!

It is very unique and pretty.

I have seen some very tiny quilts at quilt shows. No bigger than a 5" square and very intricate and beautiful. Love your "quilt"!![QUOTE=sawsan;7683315]Can't call it quilt . Lol , It's about 14" square so it's more [URL="http://www.homeschooling

I love to hand quilt but I have not done anything with big stitches. I like yours so I may just have to try it. Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting design.

Definitely a quilt. Very cute -- love your big stitches.

bettyC 10-26-2016 09:07 PM

I like it a lot. And the hand stitches too.

Just Jan 10-27-2016 04:37 AM

I really like your little quilt and would like to see a larger picture of the quilt in your avatar. It sure looks pretty from what I can see of it.

QM 10-27-2016 01:17 PM

It is certainly a quilt. The different colors in the running stitches make for a good effect.

kaylfordsollimo 10-30-2016 06:18 PM

Clever use of scraps and handwork.
