My March block for the BOM I am participating in...I posted Dudley and Freddie already. I love little black faced sheep so decided Sally would be a "Sonny" and now I have another long wait until the April block. http://pumpkinpatchbc.com/blog/

What stitch are you using to applique? It looks great. I also have printed the patterns.

I call it the double blanket stitch, not sure it's official name. I have a Husqvarna Sapphire 870Q Here is a picture of the stitch I used, it is #20 in the 2nd row.

Thank You. I think I have that one on my Singer. I'm going to try it if I do. The picture really helps. Thanks for taking the time to post it.

That is an adorable lamb. So reminds me of the baby Suffolk sheep that we raised during our children's 4-H days. They are born black though.

Your Sonny is so cute. Thanks for posting. I have downloaded the 3 PDFs so far but have not attempted them yet.

It wasn't quite what I was expecting... I loved Dudley the Dog... So.... I am trying to stay enthused....make my own adjustments to the patterns so that I love them....I think the pattern maker has done a great job... it's just that they don't make me feel joy... and that is my criteria for a pattern.

You might like to try it on a sample first.... you do have to concentrate on curves etc. because it does go back over itself... sometimes... I count 1,2,3 ok... 1,2,3.... :D

lawsonmugs 03-05-2018 09:09 AM

It turns out I don't have that stitch. So I guess I'll just stitch with the buttonhole stitch I usually use. I appreciate your help and time. Mary
