Here is a charity quilt I did recently using Marge LaBenne's pattern, Salt Water Taffy. She came and did a workshop for our guild. She gave us 5 patterns and this is the one I chose. Our guild supplies quilts for all the police cruisers in the small town of Commerce, GA.
The longarm quilting pattern is called Dainty-Le from Willow Leaf Studio. Salt Water Taffy |

The quilt and the quilting are beautiful! I think it is wonderful that you take the time to support your police with quilts for children who are caught in unpleasant happenings.
I have a Saltwater Taffy quilt on my frame right now. It is made with reproduction 30"s. I am custom quilting it with roses in the white blocks. I'll try to remember to post a picture when I get it out of the frame. |
