Here is a photo of the first quilt I made in 1982. It is a Sampler Quilt, hand pieced and hand quilted using Georgia B. system. It took me a full year to make. Since then I machine piece, but still hand quilt

That is very pretty. I really like the block in the middle of the page, the dark cross with the fans in the corners. That would make a great BOM pattern. Hint, hint!! :wink:

Barb, I am sooooooo impressed! When I started quilting, I wouldn't do anything by hand. Of course, all that has changed, as I have learned to love the process and find hand work relaxing. Very nice quilt!!!!

It still looks new Sharon because I only use it as my bedspread. Thanks everyone for your nice comments.

I love your quilt however my favorite block is the one on the right side (when looking at it) of middle block

I made a quilt with those same patters in the 80s it is wore out I gave to my DGD and she wash it to death I am plan to make a nother one Neva
