Sams Giraffe Quilt
 

Finally getting around to getting a picture up. He loves his giraffe quilt. My "little" 11 year old (5'6" wearing a size 11.5 shoe) has always loved giraffes. We only recently figured out it's because HE is so tall that he's drawn to the tall creatures. He loves his quilt.

What a good job. It is difficult on children who are taller, shorter or bigger than their piers. Glad you made him this quilt. It is very fitting for a young man.

Perfect! Love giraffe myself!

[SUP][/SUP]I have a bean pole, too. I remember at 11y/o, he grew 5 " in a single year. At 15 1/2 y/o, he is 6' 3 1/2" and still growing. Doc says not quite closed kn the growth plates yet. The quilt is amazing!

A perfect quilt for a young man!

I remember a great line from Sammy Davis, Jr., "I always wanted to be tall, dark, and handsome and one out of three ain't bad." I got tall when tall wasn't so desirable for a girl, and I have remembered that line so many times over the years!! A great quilt.
