San Diego Batiks

2 Attachment(s)
I posted that I visited Rosie's in San Diego this week. I also dropped by Cozy Quilts. I promised pictures of the irresistible batiks I adopted. Batiks are my definitely my downfall. I'd ask if there is a 12-step program (Batiks Anonymous?) but it's not an addiction I want to stop.

FabQuilter 10-18-2014 09:18 PM

Oh yes!!!! Your batik choices are beautiful.

Tartan 10-18-2014 09:43 PM

They are yummy!

quiltingcandy 10-18-2014 10:05 PM

They look great. Next time you get to San Diego try to take a trip up to M&L Fabrics in Anaheim. Some of their prices are amazing.

Beautiful fabrics......I too love batiks and have the hardest time denying myself a beautiful batik or 10. :-) I also love both of those stores.

javin22 10-19-2014 05:24 AM

They are gorgeous. You have great taste.

Girlfriend 10-19-2014 06:07 PM

What size cuts did you get? Do you have a specific pattern in mind, or just stash building?

I may have to run down there - your fabrics are gorgeous.

Grandma Peg 10-19-2014 06:26 PM

Beautiful batiks.

twinkie 10-20-2014 04:13 AM

I'm with you on Batiks.

Rennie 10-20-2014 04:31 AM

Oooo, love those batiks - but especially the red with blue, oh, oh, and the orange one... and the blue with pink -- and the - oh, heck, love them all! Good choices.

ladydukes 10-20-2014 06:33 AM

Batiks are my favorite, and that's the first type of fabric I make a beeline toward in a store or online shopping...I'm with you on it being an addiction...

rjwilder 10-20-2014 06:42 AM

The next time any of you are in Texas go visit Fabric Fanatics in Plano, the entire store is Batiks! They have a website you can google it and check it out.

BrendaK 10-20-2014 06:53 AM

Beautiful. Count me in the club. Look forward to seeing what you do with these beautiful fabrics. BrendaK

lbc 10-20-2014 08:14 AM

Very nice.

MargeD 10-20-2014 09:17 AM

Your Batik choices are absolutely beautiful. I love Batiks too, and someday I might actually make my Boston Commons quilt, I've searched for years for just the right colors, now to actually make it. I saw it on the cover of a quilt magazine years ago, it was done by Helen Weinman from Heartbeat Quilts in MA.

salemrabbits 10-20-2014 10:55 AM

never saw a batik I didn't love--awesome choices, I'd want ONE at least of everything.....

Caswews 10-20-2014 12:39 PM

Nice adoption ! (I have to remember that when I go to the fabric store !LOL)

I haven't been to Fabric Fanatics but I did get to Batiks Galore in Joshua, TX. It was amazing! I also live about 90 minutes from Batiks Etc. in Wytheville, VA. I can get into real trouble there, so try not to visit very often. Both have websites to drool over.

I would have to join Batiks Anonymous as well. They are my downfall, even when I was trying to cut back fabric spending this year. Maybe better luck next year :).

TacoMama 10-20-2014 08:23 PM

Batiks are so pretty! You have some pretty ones.

mjhaess 10-21-2014 10:37 AM

stitchingmemories 10-30-2014 09:08 PM

I love them all! Lovely!

heather1949 10-30-2014 09:22 PM

Oh they are just scrumptious.

Connie M. 11-01-2014 04:33 PM

I am addicted to fabric in general, but particularly batiks. I think, to be rehabilitated, you need to want to quit and I, like you, have no desire to do that.
