Here are some views of my finally completed first hand quilted project I ever did. This has been shown in progress. Here is the link to it.

In my garden I have used this backing before. This is the last scrap of one of my favorite fabrics. close up of my hand quilting. I did not do the leaves. I washed the binding material four times and the water was beet juice red the first two times. I might add black seed beads along the leaf spines for some bling. Ube.....this is spectacular...truly! Beautiful job and I would have never guessed this was your first time hand quilting. Wow..just love it..

That is gorgeous! I love the large pinwheel made up of all the smaller pinwheels. I think pinwheels are hard to make. Yours look perfect. Your handquilting surely doesn't look like a first project, either. Great work!

Every quilt has a story and I enjoyed reading about your journey with this amazing quilt! Congratulations on finishing your lovely work of art. (heart) :)

That is absolutely the perfect border. What a stunner! Wondering about the size of of your pinwheels. I looked back at your previous posts and they do look smallish, maybe 3 inch? I am admiring your tenacity to keep after this UFO.
