I like the black or even Red. but that is just me. I love the quilt.

I think black is the better choice. It really make the blocks "pop". Can't wait to see it finished!

I prefer the black as it makes the colours look more vibrant.

Have you thoought about putting your blocks together with no sashing? I made a quilt using thoe same colors and didn't use sashing, had to make an additional row/column ot get the size I needed, but liked the outcome, I'm attaching a picture for you to see what that looks like, hope that is o.k....
