Scooter's new jacket

I made Scooter a new winter jacket; but he doesn't seem like he's too impressed! I thought it turned out really cute, though. I double lined it with red fleece material that has black dog bones on it. Here's the jacket.

It's very cute. I can't get my little pug to agree to a coat.

It's cute. My daughter gave our pomeranian a fleece snuggli two Christmas' ago. When the temps stayed in the single digits here for a week, he started to love that silly jacket. Hope your little one loves his as much.

It is just so cute! My DD has a little "round" pug & every time someone thinks she should have a coat, it barely stretches around her. I don't really want to know this .... but.... is your coat pattern easily adjusted for the circumference of the dog?

How wonderful. They get cold too. I love the bones on the fabric.

That's so cute! My dog is more than willing to wear a coat.

My doxie loves his sweater and thinks he is top dog when he has it on........... He is a wirehaired doxie but his hair didn't come in like it should have, it is thin so he get cold easy................. Yours is cute I am sure he will like it outside when it gets cold.

He does look cute but they probably have to get use to it.

What a sweet gift for your fur-baby. He's probably just reacting to the paparazzi that want to take his cute picture! He'll love the coat soon!

Sew Cute :)

blondeslave 01-13-2012 11:54 AM

Where did you get your pattern? It fits so well. I have low riders too-just the large economy size and they are difficult to fit.

welshgirl 01-13-2012 01:58 PM

I think he looks very handsome in his new coat, love the fabric

It's for all sizes; I made it about 1 1/2" longer than the pattern called for. I also moved the straps under his belly forward 1 1/2". McCall's M4686 is the pattern. I did Version B.

What could be better than a custom made coat? You did a great job and Scooter looks so handsome in it. Maybe he is just shy and doesn't like all the attention?
