Pineapple Blossom lap quilt top finished, it's 60 inches square and the pattern is from quiltville.com. I like this one, it was fun to make. :)

That's just beautiful Shadow Dancer!

DA Mayer 04-26-2008 10:47 AM

That is so pretty, I wish you lived next door to me and some of your initiative would rub off on me. I love your work.

Chele 04-26-2008 10:51 AM

Gorgeous! It really sparkles. Which one next?

Mamagus 04-26-2008 10:56 AM

You do great work!

Isn't it fascinating how a simple quilt block when joined to others make such beautiful patterns?

DJ 04-26-2008 11:00 AM

Another beauty!

beachlady 04-26-2008 11:15 AM

Oh Shadow Dancer!!! Sigh, Sigh, Sigh!!! Think I am jealous! Another great one.

Barb M 04-26-2008 11:23 AM

Shadow, i love this the best!!! Out of all your scrappy q2uilts, i love this one :) It looks even nicer than the quiltville sample, because you used very distinct dark colours, and then white background, makes the pattern stand out more, just beautiful! :) But wow, 60 inches? The sampler is 9 inches, so your blocks cant be 15 inches each are they? Sure is beautiful though :)

MissTreated 04-26-2008 11:53 AM

Gotta love a woman who isn't afraid of using white in a high contrast setting!!! Another great one from the Scrap Queen! I think I'll just her SQ from now on!

I like looking at the pattern the way it carries your eyes all over it. So you first see the quilt as a whole and then in draws you in deeper and deeper, very nice.

nanabirdmo 04-26-2008 12:31 PM

hey shadow, love the pineapple. is this a paper pieced? looks great. don't you just love scrappys? i sure do.

Barb M 04-26-2008 12:36 PM

PS Sooo glad you used a dif title this time, so i would know it's a dif quilt lol lol

bj 04-26-2008 01:05 PM

Oooooh! I really like this one. The white really brightens up the colors!

Izy 04-26-2008 01:16 PM

barnbum 04-26-2008 02:50 PM

Oh I love that!! It has the log cabin feel/look with something extra. Cool. :D

sandpat 04-26-2008 02:54 PM

Great job...you must be running low on scraps now  I just love this one and really love that you used the white to make it pop!

barnbum 04-26-2008 03:25 PM

I like the look of yours much better than on quiltville--you didn't use sashing, right? Your just looks awesome. You should send the photo to quitville and have them put it up!!

tlrnhi 04-26-2008 05:44 PM

That's awesome!

That's it. I'm going to rent a jet plane and go and kidnap her so she can come to my house and help ME make those awesome quilts!!!

jbsstrawberry 04-26-2008 05:45 PM

That may be my favorite scrap buster project so far Shadow!! Just beautiful!!

Harmony 04-26-2008 07:04 PM

I always love quilts with lots of white in them--makes the colors stand out, and it looks so crisp!

You sure have better looking scraps than I do! Clearly you have a much better sense of color. And you are (apparently) fearless! I'm so envious! This one is also gorgeous!
