The first pic is the finished block and the 2nd pic is the beginning of the quilt, which forms the stars. The pattern is from the book "Nickle Quilts." A good book to using up scraps.

I have the book More Nickel Quilts, it is for scrappy quilts also.

Very nice, I started that quilt, a few years ago.

I'm not familar with More Nickel Quilts, but it is by the same person, so I assume it is. Good way to use up scraps.

Question for all---my biggest challenge with this quilt will be the quilting----any suggestions would be helpful? Just can't seem to figure that one out. Don't really want to do SID.
