This is what I've been working on and I think that I'm ready for a border. I have had trouble getting this far but maybe now. I use my 2 1/2 in strips that I had cut out of material that I have used in other quilts.

I think braids are one of the coolest scrappy looks you can make and who doesn't have 2½" strips laying around their work area.
