The star block was it's own separate block made out of the scraps I had.

Just Stunning!! Wow! I love this quilt! Super great job, nice points on your stars...just how did you do that?! Love the scrappy fabrics as well.....job well done!

The star pattern, I've heard been called 8 pointed star and also 54-40 flight, I used the tri recs ruler, and that was fairyly easy to make these stars.

The stars were fairly easy as I used the tri recs ruler.
