Scrappy Auction Quilt finally finished
3 Attachment(s)
I posted this when pieced before quilting. I finally finished hand quilting it and put the binding on this week. I quilted a flower pattern in the sets of squares, outlined the pinwheels and points, straight rows in the border. It took me about 3 months of quilting an average of 3 to 4 hours an evening. Good use of this nasty winter. It is made almost entirely from my stash, purchased a very few fat quarters for the border strips and points. All done in jewel tones, really loud and bright! The pattern was from a June 2005 issue of American Patchwork & Quilting. Looks to be set on point, really isn't. Love this quilt (have become attached to it). It will be auctioned this summer at my grandkids goat club auction, to help with fund raising for scholarships.
