Scrappy baby quilt
 

I was invited to a brunch to meet a friend's new baby girl this weekend. DH and I were living in Hong Kong when the baby shower happened, so I whipped this up a bit spur of the moment since I'd never given her a baby gift! It is not "scrappy" insofar as all the fabric comes from one line (Oh Deer! by MoMo), but it's made mostly of triangle scraps I had leftover after making another quilt with the line. I still haven't finished that one, but this one is done! I made up all the HSTs, then sort of played with them until I came up with this layout.

I was finishing the binding in the car on the way there, so I don't have a photo of the finished quilt, but this is the top! I'm really pleased with how it came out, especially since it was a last minute and not at all planned out!
