Had so many large scraps from my kit from craftsy i bought a class called magic boxes from the same designer kinberly einmo
there is a plain border than 2.5 coloured sqs then another plain i had asked about using different background and i thinkit turned out great! never thought i`d be able to do these stars but with her great video i nailed it lol Gale |
Love it! I also have fun using Craftsy leftovers. Great background fabric for all of those batiks.

That's lovely!
Must have been some kit to have all those leftovers! Watson |
Beautiful! And that's a lot of leftovers. Are their kits always like that?

Beautiful quilts! Can’t believe you had that much fabric leftover from a kit. Glad to see you helper kept them safe until you were ready to use them! :o

Great quilt. Can't believe how much scrap is left over.

Great tops and use of leftovers!

What a fun project...I love Kimberly Einmo. I took a class with her at MQX in Manchester NH almost 2 years ago and she teaches a fun class.
I love both of your quilts! Great job!! I have had that experience with Craftsy kits also, so you've given me great ideas!!
Gorgeous quilt.
It's great!
Beautiful quilt. Nice use of scraps!
Leftovers from a kit? How does that ever happen? Glad you got it accomplished.
That came out great! You did a beautiful job. Looks like the quilt inspector approves too.
Spoken like a true quilter. This is how quilting got started in our country being a frugal lot of people. Fabric was imported and taxed like crazy, so using every scrap was our solution to waste.
Nice quilt.
Very pretty quilts from the kit leftovers. I really like the diagonal striped border.
That is an awesome quilt
Both quilts are beautiful. BrendaK

Two for one! That is a great quilt. It is a great use of the left over fabric. I have heard too many stories about kits being short on some fabrics. I do like fabrics that I have gotten from Craftsy.
I've had leftovers from Craftsy kits as well and have been known to buy a kit simply for the fabric. The last one I bought was $17.99 + shipping and I received two complete jelly rolls. Love your random stars quilt - it gives me inspiration.
Wow that is just beautiful! Great job using scraps and leftovers.
Great colors for a beautiful quilt.
