I've been playing in my scraps again. I think I love scraps better than yardage. I've been tempted to cut all the fabric I have into little pieces. And then I could have the selvages too! Scraps are so fun to play with!

So cheerful looking. They made me smile.

cjomomma 07-19-2010 04:26 PM

Everyone of them is so cute. Now you make me want to go play with my scraps.

Eagle Hawk 07-19-2010 04:27 PM

Oh, so cute. I love scraps, too. I have made 6 different 12x12 star blocks out of scraps in the last few days and they are so fun and pretty. I love digging around in scraps to find things that go well. The people I quilt with only make big quilts and never use their scraps so they give them to me. Between theirs and my own I have a lot of fun waiting to be had in several shoe boxes. I love to make big quilts, but love to make small scrappy projects, too. Yours are so pretty. Thanks.

I love doing Chinese Coins.. so fun!! I made one for the pregnancy center in which I make, and donate quilts to here in our mountian town.. So fun to know babies, whether being adopted out, or just in a bad situation with their parents,, will recieve a new quilt just for them.. so rewarding for me to make them all each month.. Thanks for sharing your photos !! Here is just a fun , " springy" Coin one I did, before the binding, and such.

They are very cute indeed. I have two projects to complete then I'm going to make a scrappy quilt, if I have enough scraps left, I can at least start one.

kristen0112 07-19-2010 10:21 PM

Very cute and creative

rootyr 07-20-2010 01:59 AM

Oh so nice!

piepatch 07-20-2010 02:22 AM

I love your scrappy projects, and the cheerful colors. I have some pot holders cut out to make, but I think I like yours better. I may have to use your idea on this one. I made a quilt once using the strips diagonally, and really enjoyed making it.

katsewnsew 07-20-2010 02:45 AM

All three are really cool! Thanks for the inspiration!

Kaye-Kaye 07-20-2010 03:13 AM

Love them all. The wonky house on the hill is my favorite. I need to make some potholders. This looks like a good idea.

barnbum 07-20-2010 03:32 AM

I think you should cut up all your stash too--you are a scrap queen!! I love the house--and esp. the hill upon which it sits. And the little piece of binding that's different--perfect. :-D

dkabasketlady 07-20-2010 04:59 AM

Scrappy quilts are so much fun to make. Even the ugliest fabric can look fantastic in a scrappy quilt!!! Your projects are very pretty!!

mygirl66 07-20-2010 05:00 AM

All of them are soooo cool! I really like the little house, sweet!

Thank You for sharing! I use all of my scraps for boring crumble blocks. Colorful but not as exciting as yours. I love seeing differant ways to use every little scrap.
Using scraps that I used to toss out is like finding free fabric.
I hope to see more of your work,
christina ( chrissy)
