scrappy quilt using fusible grid

I bought some fusible grid and thought it would be fun. It wasn't as much fun as I thought LOL ... and what I thought would be a quick and easy way to sew a bunch of 2-inch squares together led to levels of frustration that are best not mentioned.

Anyway, it's done - not as big as I had planned because of my frustrations ...

So here it is ... still trying to figure out how I am going to quilt it ... it's pretty bulky in the seams

Your quilt is gorgeous! I'm sorry you had so much trouble with the fusible grid. I've used it before and thought it was wonderful. But your quilt really is outstanding.

You could tie it.

to a tree and let it float in the wind? LOL ... sorry, I couldn't resist .... that's how I feel about it right now ...

I never used fusible grid. For quilting, I would be tempted to quilt on the diagonal. If the corners are too bulky, I would quilt mid-block. Very pretty quilt. Love the colors.
