This turned out so pretty. I am sure Charisma will be thrilled with it. I also love how you left so much white for quilting! She will be able to use it for her show booth displays.

I too am eager to see what she does with it. But with all LA quilters, seems we rarely have time for our own so she probably won't get it quilted anytime soon.

I immediately loved "Now and Then" by Kathy Doughty published in Material Obsession 2. It's the beauty on the back cover. So I set out making the triangles, knowing I would change the applique...but the perfect appliqe never came to me. QuilterMamma posted her log cabin star on the 2012 UFO challenge thread and I knew immediately what to do with my triangles. The layout imitates a block in the variable star family (can't find the proper name). Glad you like.
