I like your stars quilt, your really knocking these scrap busters out, puttin me to shame girl! lol Are you wanting to totally delete your stash and start over?

Grammie2twins+1 05-21-2008 07:27 PM

Hey Shadow, beautiful quilt. You make the most beautiful quilts. I have not seen one you have made that I didn't like. Have to nickname you Speed Dancer. LOL

mgshaw 05-21-2008 07:32 PM

Okay that is my favorite so far!!!I love stars!!!! love the way you offset the middle column. Awesome

tlrnhi 05-21-2008 07:34 PM

That's just as pretty as the rest!
BTW....what do you do with all your finished quilts?
You make SOOO many??

Shadow Dancer 05-21-2008 07:43 PM

Thank you for your kind words. :)

I have 14 years of scraps, it's going to take me quite awhile to use them all up to start a new scrap bin....but I'm sure trying. lol :)

All my scrap buster quilts are for the Wrap them in Love Foundation. They send donated quilts to children in orphanages, the sad part is that a lot of these children are HIV and will never leave the orphanage. :(

I just love your quilts!
I think it's great you donate them to the kids. Yes, it is sad, but at least they are "wrapped in love" from someone who ENJOYS making them.

ANOTHER beautiful one! I think it's great where these are going!

DJ 05-21-2008 08:18 PM

You're going to make a lot of little orphans very happy! Lovely quilt!

amma 05-21-2008 08:22 PM

You are a sweet sweet lady with a heart of gold :D :D :D Bless you for thinking of those dear children, they will love their beautiful gifts! :D :D :D

MissTreated 05-21-2008 09:01 PM

Awesome! And I mean that for both the quilt and what you do with them. It sure makes you feel good to do something for children who were dealt such a crappy hand in life. You are a wonderful lady.

I agree, I think this one is my favorite! (Yeah, I know, I probably say that about all of them!) But I really think this one is special. Well Done!

Now that is an awesome quilt, with an awesome border, made by an awesome lady :)

joy 05-22-2008 01:17 AM

Such talent..... lovely being able to make something for others.... I always love your colourings.... the colours just make a quilt.

barnbum 05-22-2008 01:41 AM

Oh I love that one!!

beachlady 05-22-2008 03:36 AM

Shadow, you are wonderful. Must give you some satification to know that you are making someone happy and that your stash is also getting smaller. How about a picture of your stash.......so we can all drool.

Also another thing you have done is inspire me to try things I thought I couldn't do. I started on the strip twist yesterday and am having fun laying them out to see how they should go together. Have lots more to sew, but thank you. Finding out that things aren't as hard as they look. Since I am basically self taught, I am slower I guess.

Roben 05-22-2008 04:12 AM

Shadow, I'd tell you I like this one best but I know I'll just love the rest of them you do just as much! It's beautiful!

Calico92402 05-22-2008 04:15 AM

Beautiful quilt, and ahhh ... such a fantastic cause you donate to. I'm like Beachlady, though - I'd love to see pictures of your stash!

BDor 05-24-2008 06:21 AM

Beautiful! Just like the lady who makes them and wraps so many children in love. I just have one question--Do you ever sleep? You can't and make so many quilts.
