This is a great tip. I have a couple of tops that I want to hand quilt and was just going to tie it but now I think I will try this. And I already bought crochet thread for another one I did and ended up using embroidery floss on it.
Another reason why this board is so wonderful. :D

nanabirdmo,
I don't hand quilt much, but have a hand pieced that I'm planning to hand quilt. It's just a small quilt because I usually don't hand piece and wanted to try it. QUESTION What is turkey tracks quilting? It might be appropriate for my project.

thanks,
peel

Love it!! Where do I find a pattern for Turkey Tracks?

BDor 09-24-2009 01:48 PM

If I had read all post I would have realized "Turkey Track" is the quilting (duh) not the quilt pattern. I guess the pattern is friendship braid?
