Your quilt is beautiful -- it has the look of stained glass, doesn't it? All of your colors are vibrant, and the yellow border sets everything off nicely.

As to not finding someone to hold up your quilts for you -- you've created a quilting vignette which changes a poster look to a living quilt scene. I really like the look of a beautiful quilt when it's draped across a bench, a split-rail fence, a picnic table, or anything to give it life. I think it looks more inviting. Just my opinion!!
