Scrappy Trip Around the World - another Bonnie Hunter free pattern
4 Attachment(s)
This was hanging on my design wall for quite a while before I could get back on the floor to make up my quilt sandwich.
I quilted it on my Sunshine 16 and used the flange binding to finish it off so I didn't have any hand sewing to do to complete it. If anyone remembers the "NOODLE SWAP" we did on the board a while back, most of the blocks are made from those strips! So thank you to any of you that were in the swap for your contribution! |
very nice scrappy!!!!

Great scrappy! When I see a scrappy quilt, it really makes me want to make one... someday. Hope it's soon because my scrap piles are building up quickly. Thanks for sharing.
Great scrappy and set-up! I love the flange binding the best for a machine sewn binding.

Love your scrappy quilt. How do you like your Sunshine 16 mid-arm? Would love to go that route since I don't have the room for a long-arm. Would love to hear your take on it?

Awesome!!!

Wow, I was surprised. When I saw the word scrappy I was wondering if the design would be lost but the TATW still can be seen. I did one with stars n stripes, that type of fabric. we cut the fabric into long strips, sewed them together and then cut them into our 2in blocks, so much easier than block by block. great job
I've never made one like this. Sure looks like a lot of work. VERY PRETTY....... GOOD JOB!!

That turned out GREAT !
That looks very nice! How did you quilt it? Did you mark the quilting pattern first (if so, what did you use) or did you just free motion the design? The quilting looks nice as well:).
