The dominant fabrics are from Moda's Summer House line.
I used a pattern by Jaybird Quilts called Hugs and Kisses (only slight variations from original pattern). The angled pieces are very easy to achieve using a Lazy Angle ruler. My free motion quilting was on the heavy side-- lots of swirls and spirals and paisley to echo the motifs from the fabrics. I love how it crinkled up on the wash for a light, crisp texture-- just what I like in a summer weight quilt. Thanks for taking a peek. RST |
