If you enlarged this when copying it you could get it to be a 12" finished block. I am thinking enlarge at 150%.

i think 6" is 100% now. to double that measurement, you have to double the %-age to 200%. cut away the seam allowance before copying and then copy. measure to make sure it's 12". if it works the way it should,add back the seam allowance and recopy. you'll need a large sheet of paper or you'll need to cut the original into halves and then tape the finished product back together.
