second project done

Here's my second project. I do believe there is hope for me and quilting. Is it perfect? Nope. is it better than my first project? Yes. So I am a very happy quilter.

Looks great! Nice work spinning those seams. I love browns, although not many seem too.
Wonderful job! Hardly anyone will look at it with a magnifying glass ;) ;) ;)
My first quilting teacher had a 6 foot rule that I think is practical: lay your fabric choices so that the edge of the fabrics are showing and view them from 6 feet. If nothing jumps out, your colors are good. Same thing for block layout, and same thing for accuracy. If you can't see anything wrong from 6 feet it's just wonderful! |
Well done!

Excellent work and color choice! You are a happy quilter when you enjoy what you do. Great job!

Truly impressive for your second quilt, actually, experienced quilters have problems getting the corners that tight. Well done.

Thank you. I think one must do projects that interest them. I love the 6 foot rule. I must remember that. Not sure what my next project will be. But , there will be a next project😀

Looks like a professional job to me. Great looking quilt.
You're doing wonderfully...it's definitely a hobby where I feel I am constantly growing with experience and learning new techniques. Happy stitches to you...
good job! Marvelous progress.
That's an excellent job!! I think you did a great job!
Your putting too much pressure on yourself, I heard Marianne Fons (called a master quilter) say that she has never made a perfect quilt, she has areas of the quilt that may be perfect but not the whole thing! If I were going for perfection it would not be a relaxing and enjoyable experience every time I made a quilt. I quilt because I love it and it gives me great joy to see the person that I am making it for react to my gift!
I admire the way you work to keep getting better! That's how we learn. Good job.
Good job! You must have a real feel for getting your points so close to perfect. Lovely colour combo, as well.
