I love the two(2) patterns that were enclosed, one was of a christmas quilt and one was of Color Crayons.
Can't figure out which one I want to start first.

To my Angel: I opened the chocolate orange yesterday when everyone was here for Christmas Eve and now EVERYONE wants their own. The peanut brittle was an even bigger hit, now they think I should make more brittle and find where to buy the chocolate. Thank you again for such wonderful gifts

I think WalMart may have those oranges, I know I've seen them someplace.

And we weren't invited........ :cry:

ok...well, I'll go looking for some of those chocolate oranges for you... The brittle is very easy to make! I don't know if I have the same recipe as your angel...but I do have a good one if you are wanting one. Its done in the microwave...easy breezy!! AND YUMMY!

I got my first package from my SQA. It arrived on Christmas Eve, but with so much going on, I didn't have any time to open it. So it went under the tree and when my family was here, I opened it then. I got a terrific card, and a very pretty reindeer ornament. My Grandson Carter wanted to give him a name so he is now officially called "Doodle". Carter thinks that is a WONDERFUL name for such a pretty reindeer. He then hung it on the tree for me (he is 3 and VERY responsible). Such a great reaction to a gift I got.

Thank you SQA ... I'm looking forward to having you watch over me for the next year.

I want to thank my SQA I got my gift yesterday but didn't open til today I got a pretty cardsome chocolate, and the cutest ornament it was a miniature sewing basket with pin cushion,fat quarters, mat and rotary cutter! I hung it on the tree and it will go with the ornaments for next year and many to come!! I'll post pics later! I haven't been able to get my first sqa gift sent out yet but I will!

I received my first gift today from my Secret Quilt Angel today.
It was a Happy New Years card that was handmade. It is beautuiful. And a book. I had shoulder surgery on the 14th of this month and haven't been able to do alot. I can curl up in a chair with a very good book and let the time go away. It is going to be along 4 weeks...........

ok here is dumb question number 1001 from me. I had a small gift sent via another person to my secret angel. How do you know if the recipient receives it?

usually we'll post pics of our goodies here or you can contact the coordinators and they can check to see if your gift was received and report back to you... Trust me there are ways mwahahahah :twisted:

Generally...when someone recieves..they at least post a thank you here even if they don't post a pic of it. And with this bunch...you can usually hear a squeal of joy for miles!! :lol: :lol:

Now I am very confused, which doesn't take much. My SQA has sent me a few pressies the introduction note was typed however before I got that note I received one handwritten saying SQA. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO who is the SQA that was assigned to me by Kwhite???????????? Today I received a beautiful card. When it is opened there is a hanging basket of flowers. The card was handwritten. Thank you whoever your are the card is BEAUTIFUL. I am wondering if I have one sneaky SQA or if there are others pretending to be my SQA especially since their were several people who posted they were my angel. What confusion. :shock: :shock:

Thanks Sandpat. I hope it does heal fast too. I haven't been able to sew since June. I broke my humaras on June 3. Believe me there was nothing humaras about it. It has been a long dry spell. I love looking at what everyone has done. But it does make me sad tooo.

I received a gift from my Secret Angel. A pocket calendar so I can keep up with myself, a funny card that made me laugh out loud and a beautiful fat quarter. I have the best Angel!!!!
