My angel strikes again! She sent a spy, errr, helper in to extract more information. It turns out we both love The Food Network! And 1930's reproduction fabrics! Now we just need to get together to cook and sew! Thank you so much angel! I know I'm prejudice, but my angel is the best! :P

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY............... The florist called to make sure I was home (like I ever leave the house) because they had a delivery for me. I NEVER EVER get flowers from anyone so I was stumpt as to who would send little old (yes old 55) me flowers. It was my SQA. The arrangement came in a short square bright pink clear glass container. Perfect to use with a votive candle when the flowers die. Now to the flowers they are sooooooooooooo beautiful. There are deep salmon colored lilies, dark and med pink roses, deep pink carnations and purple daisies. I would have never in a million years put those colors together but they are stunning. I am going to take a petal off each flower in a few days and dry them so I have the exact color. One day I would like to make a quilt with the colors of my flowers. Oh how I wish I knew how to post pictures for everyone to see, they are breath taking. Thank you, thank you, thank you, I can not thank you enough my sweet SQA

I was having a sucky kind of day (that's the closest I get to cursing) and then I read about the vertigo issues- OMG! My stomach did some flip flops in sympathy. I had a middle ear infection sooo bad one year- I drove myself to the Dr.- was sick in the bathroom and then he asked me to stand, close my eyes and touch my nose with my finger- I don't know where my finger was, but I didn't feel it on my nose. I opened my eyes because I thought I was going to fall over and Dr. was laughing. He said I looked drunk. I was not amused. Until that day, I had a crush on him. He ruined it. Had it once before- forgot about that one- I was working in the next county- was sooo ill- called my sister to rescue me- she called an ambulance for me- I was puking so bad! They gave me a shot of valium to stop the spinning and life went dark- it put me out for a full day! I used to travel with some pills in case it happened again.

Earlier she sent me a cute card with a bunny on it telling me that she was sending me a package and that it included my Valentines goodies...
I got a WHOLE bag of heart lollypops, a bubble stamp pen with Pooh on top ( I love bubbles and pooh -- ok I may be starting my 2nd childhood early or maybe I never left childhood :D), a tin of cookies, a chocolate bunny and a Think Spring wall hanging kit.

This is as per my DD who in the last 8 months has received enough flowers after surgeries to fill a funeral home. As she was laying on the couch she was looking at my BEAUTIFUL flowers and she said "HOW COME NO ONE EVER SENT ME A COOL FLOWER ARRANGEMENT LIKE THAT?????? IN A COOL PINK VASE and ORANGE...........ORANGE IS MY FAVORITE COLOR AND HOT PINK?????? MOM I NEED THEM IN MY ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!" Since most of our day is spent in her room the flowers now have a place of honor in Joyce's room. SQA you made not only me happy on my birthday but you put the most beautiful smile on Joyce's face, a smile I haven't seem in almost a year. I thought I would cry. thank you ever so much.

ummmm. I've eaten/shared with family the cookies and lolly pops and I've played with the bubbles already and I don't think the wall hanging will compliment your decor like it will mine :D Oh and you probably couldn't use the bobbins in your machine because I have a Viking 6430 and it takes a special kind of bobbin.. which these are :D

I had a great birthday and came home to even more goodies. My Secret fuzzy angel sent a gorgeous Jim Shore figurine "Stiched with Love". It will sit over my sewing machine to give me inspiration and ideas. Thank you for such a thoughtful keepsake gift. She'll be my secret angel for now, but next December she will be given YOUR name.
