I got another package. My SQA sure has been busy. I have been getting all kinds of awesome gifts. I am still working on making something out of the fabric she sent me the last time. I can't wait til I get that finished so I can show you all. HMMMM now what am I going to make out of this fabric.

I got a fantastic box from my SQA last Friday, sorry it has taken me so long to post a picture. My 3 cousins were here, and of course they had to help me open everything, and lots of oohs and awes. Each thing was wrapped in white paper with the ST. Patrick's Day ribbon around it. I got a book, Julie and Julia, which I had not read or seen yet, a adorable box, with a rose on it, and a pair of white and green socks in it. I will wear them on March 17th :-D And 3 different types of tea, can't wait to try them all. Also, a too cute note pad, and a beautiful piece of material! It is almost a perriwinkle with blue in it, and I love it!! :-D :-D

I love not knowing!!

I Got a fat quarter and card from my secret quilt angel on saturday...the envelope was trashed but post office recovered at and it found its way to me. Thank you quilt angel! I love my FQ!

It was so much fun to come home to a box on my porch from my SQA. Thank you very much. I promise I will be good and not open the do not open packages but will confess that I have been pinching, shaking and smelling them. I love the cute bunny character and the pretty ribbons. The buttons on the national quilt day package are just darling and will be fun to incorperate into some projects. I am looking forward to reading the book. Some of my friends at the last quilt guild meeting were talking about the book and I had it on my list of things to find and read. I love the St Patty's fat quarter and the other fat quarters that you used to wrap the other presents. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are the bestest.

Have had a rough week (and, yes, it IS only Monday!) already, but I came home for lunch and had a squishie from my SQA. Oh, it was so sweet! A lovely card that appears to be handmade with a caring personal note inside. Then I also got a really pretty lacy bookmark with red roses on it, a pattern that says, "Every time a bell rings an Angel gets her Wings" (love it!), and the cutest tea towel with three pretty pastel cupcakes embroidered on it! Gorgeous! And I just LOVE the glitzy tulle bag the towel was wrapped in!

Thank you, my Angel, whomever you are. You are so thoughtful and yes, I am feeling much better now! You're doing a spectacular job!

I got a squishy today! Well, it may have come on Saturday but we forgot to check the mail then because it was snowing too badly. It was fabric! layer upon layer.

The St. Pat's fabric will be great in the Claudia's monthly row. The greenish flower is PERFECT for the pile I've got going with other fabrics that color. It's a cool batic looking one - I love it.

And then the best! (except the lizzards, of course), kitties. I adore kitties and this one is just too cute. I'm still looking for the prefect pattern, but I save them for a fun quilt (for OUR bed! - not for a gift!) I made lots of scrub hats in the OR out of kitties, and this new green one is adorable.

Dear Fuzzy Angel. I can't tell you how much your pkg meant to me today. Work has been terrible - lots of tension. My oldest son is supposed to an adult, but isn't acting like it. The winter weather has about got me down. My neck hurts (already fused twice, so maybe it's tension and weather?), the house is a mess, Another son is being an idiot, on and on and on. Thank you for thinking of me!

Sarasewing--your life sounds like mine right now (about your sons!! My one son came back from 1 year of college and isn't looking very hard for a job and the other is doing terribly in school!) My daughter who is only 5 keeps getting into things like she was a 2 year old and my head just swims everyday!! Kids--gotta love 'em but geez--let the trouble come in small doses that are few are far between!!! Hope things get better for you soon. I'm sure that spring and the spring weather will do everyone tons of good!!

Today, Monday the 15th, I received the most darling hand made card from my SQA. She was so thoughtful to remember that my Brandi, my companion dog, passed away this last week. Your kind thoughts & words mean so much to me!! You made me smile & I thank you for that.

I received my package from my Secret Angel yesterday. Two absolutely delicious Belgian chocolate and 5 half yard pieces of beautiful blue fabrics and a cute St. Patrick's Day card. I absolutely love everything. I still haven't had a chance to make the Mad Hatter tote from January, first I was busy with the tee shirt quilt, now the Humane Society has requested a quilt to be raffled off toward the end of April, but I will get it done, the fabrics are all starched and ready to go.

The angels are sure being great, mine is fabulous!!

I GOT A PACKAGE LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was funny, because all day I was thinking to myself "I think I'm going to have a package waiting for me when I get home. I feel like it's there waiting for me to open it" And of course, when I got home..THERE IT WAS!!! I was so excited!!!!

THANK YOU ANGEL!!! It's the most wonderful gift! I got 3 LOVELY green FQ's (you've been reading up on me! Green is totally my color right now! haha), some green hand quilting thread...this will go wonderfully with my green quilt!! I might even take the time to hand quilt it!!! and some YUMMY YUMMY green candy! All different kinds and some of my favorites in there too!! (flavored tootsie rolls, those jelly fruit slice things..YUM!), And a wonderful St.Patty's Day Card! It's joyfully displayed on my night stand!!!

I got a WONDERFUL card from "Rosie" yesterday, sorry I wasn't feeling well and went to bed early last nite :oops: Inside was a nice note and a shamrock pin with a card explaining the Legend of St Patrick :thumbup:
