i save everything it seems even the selvages also have a quilting friend that saves them for me so needed to use them up so i did this

I see so many lovely things made with selvages. I really should start cutting them off before I cut my strips. I just never remember to that. As a result, I have 2 1-gal bags of itty-bitty bits and pieces and some day I'm going to make into pillows for the animal shelter.

Never thought of that.

OH, that is sooooo cute!!! I love it.

i just sewed 3 12 1/2 inch sqs together with a 5 inch bottom sew 2 large sqs together thenthe bottom piece then another large sq to get a long rectangle hope this helps

Very interesting.

But it won't have the texture that real selvages give and won't be as impressive. Maybe good to use as a lining in a project.
