September donations
9 Attachment(s)
When speaking with the cancer center, they are very short of quilts for the new patients... kind of sad that there are so many new patients. So I buckled down this month and made all of these. I try to knit one afghan every month for them, too. The last quilt, red white and blue, was a donation to the church group I belong to with the fabrics donated to that group, and then the donation goes from the church to the cancer center. There were only two ready from them for the cancer center this month.

You are pretty amazing and productive! What size are they? Is the knitting just stockinette or knit a row, purl a row?
What kind of yarn? I'd love to try a tumbler to use up fabric. Or something even less complicated like rows or big squares. I am trying to downsize and if I could get my act together, I could do this… I am SO slow. Thank you to you for doing so many. |
Great job! All the quilts you made are beautiful.
