A friend asked me for advice on setting Marcia Holm's version of Cain and Able (quilerscache.com).
Hers has white sashing and cornerstones. I don't like that. I tried several that I disliked equally and a few I found marginal. Ideas? In looking now, I see I forgot to extend my colors on the sashing ends for 2-5. Oops! the reason i like 2,4,5 is that the cornerstone and adjoining green squares make a secondary block. so i think i would go with 4 since you don't really like the white

Thank you for your comments. My friend has seen them too. I should tell you that the fabric choices she made are these colors and look really good in her blocks.

Love#1 I like the colors in #4 but like the way it looks like another block in #5 Its going to be a great quilt any way you do it!!! Definitely not the whie though lol
