a picture of my name badge I made for a QB meet n greet this past summer. The discussion we were having was to have some sort of name badge that QB members would all recognize @ future meet ups. I am NOT suggesting using my design. It is made from a used canning lid, some batting, fabric circle cut large enouf to go around the back to cover the backside. I basted a small hem, then pulled the baste-ing tight. My DH found the name badge magnets (which I hot glued on) @ a local trophy/engraving shop. I put my QB name on top and real name on bottom..... embellish as desired.....

That is so neat. I will have to share this with the guild. We are required to make name tags and this is a good idea. Thanks for sharing.

Glad you like it. Feel free to copy!!! I keep it in a plastic bag in my purse (just in case I forget who I am!) lol ! Saw some darling quarter size plastic buttons yesterday @ LQS. One had plastic spool of thread in the middle, the other had little scissors. Really cute! Pack of 6 for $2.29
Happy Quilting everyone!!! |
