there is a website: http://www.marinecorpsfamioyfoundation.org/santa.html where they tell you everything you may ever want to know about donating stuff for our soldiers. The Santa's Socks project is the one where there is a cardboard box with toys and a sock hanging out of the box on the website. You may also like to look at the Block of The Month/Week category on the Quilting Board. Back in 2007 I asked a question about choosing the Socks for the BOM it's listed: Question RE: BOM- How about Christmas Socks for our Soldiers? I think it's on Page 7 of the BOM category. I screwed up...It's : marinecorpsfamilyfoundation. My fingers got in a hurry and put an "o" in family. Sorry. |
