Never could figure out why the sewing machine companies quit making a cabinet with drop hole for the machine. That was so nice to be able to fold it away when you needed to and have a level place to work when it was up.

I had one of those desks with the two flip out table tops, it had drawers on the left side of the opening for your legs. I got a cramp in my neck sewing because the needle was too far left, I had to sit sideways to be in the right position to see. My daughter has it now, but she doesn't sew. I considered getting it back and having it modified, but it doesn't fit this machine and I didn't have room for another desk. I also couldn't part with the desk I have, it is 7 feet long, so much more space to work. I will put a smooth board over the hole if I need to use my machine free arm.
