Love all that natural light.

It's really looking good! But aren't you getting "itchy" to just chuck it all and start sewing something now???

I love your sewing machine, that caught my eye first.

I like the sewing table and desk placed back-to-back. The desk makes a great cutting/storage space. You just need to find a place for your ironing board to be very close to your sewing machine. This room looks like a very nice place to sew in with all that natural lighting. Enjoy! Looking forward to seeing your final photos.

Liking it! Keep going, you're going to be able to be so creative! Your problem will be deciding what to do first, unless you're like me and you have to get to those projects that they unwrapped as fabric with promises...

Love to get things organized... speaking of which I need to finish up my room. ....well later! LOL

Looks like a garage sale coming up to me,,,im with you clutter does nothing for creativity,, good work so far,, be encouraged,,,

That's what I was thinking! I had a bear of a time doing machine quilting on a 60x60 quilt right before Christmas. Knew I had to do something to get more surface area on the backside of the machine.

I actually swapped the cabinet & desk. That room faces south & gets a lot of southwest light at the time of day I would be in there with the blinds open. That will put the sun at my back.

I haven't decided yet if I will take the doors off. Good suggestion, but I do like to "clean up & close up" once in a while. I can see the door with the way I finally placed the seawing cabinet. My husband is "stealth" & startles me all the time. Hopefully this way I will see him coming.

There is a plug outlet right under the center window. I won't really be walking around that end unless I am basting, so I hope it will be ok.
