This is a T shirt quilt just finished. Each block is quilted differently. The designer is a 15 year old high school student in my town. It was such a pleasure to do her quilting.

Very pretty --- and I LOVE the color you chose! :D

Iggys Mom 08-01-2011 02:49 AM

hello Robin, where are you located. I live in KY. I also do quilting and embroidery. what kind of embroidery machine are you using? do you do a lot of embroidery blocks in connection with the quilting. I have ideas but have not put the two together very much as yet.

Moonglow 08-01-2011 02:52 AM

Great sewing rooms.

nunnyJo 08-01-2011 03:19 AM

I'm jealous, no room at my place for a long arm

SingerSewer 08-01-2011 03:36 AM

Kathy, your sewing room is wonderful. Are the quilts on drapery rods? They are beautiful.
What brands are your embroidery machine and quilting machine? Do you quilt for hire?
Your thread adds lots of color and makes your room really fun.
Can hardly wait to see your stash.

SingerSewer 08-01-2011 03:38 AM

Ube, your room is nice too. What kind of quilting machine/system do you have? Like your shelves. They are large enough to hold lots of stash. What kind of batting do you prefer for quilting? Thanks for sharing your room.

Stitcher317 08-01-2011 03:59 AM

Oh, these great sewing rooms are taking me to the drawing board!

Oh, you're so lucky to be able to have everything in one space. My main sewing room is in the basement, but my new long arm has a room of her own. Nothing else will fit in there with her. I do have some bookcases that are holding my growing collection of thread, and quilting books. And she wouldn't fit in the basement with all the other sewing machines. So I get plenty of exercise running up and down stairs.

Pam S 08-01-2011 10:17 AM

Beautiful space. You know we are all in envy of your thread supply!

lbc 08-01-2011 11:09 AM

I can barely find my tables!. You have to come organize me.

Your studio is wonderful, spacious, clean, pretty and organized.
You can really focus on what you're doing with out distractions from something like the mess I call my studio!

Here"s mine. promise to just laugh.

This is just what it looked like after finishingthe
B/W & orange quilt. Now I have to clean up!
I love both of yours. Maybe by the end of summer I will have mine so I can take pics and show all. hahaha

I also have to appologize. I thought I was in create a new topic and usurped this thread. Can it be moved to a new topic?
