Wow this is the first time I saw a quilt in this pattern and it is really something. Your GD looks thrilled and there is no better feeling than knowing all your work is now loved by someone special to you. Thanks for sharing with us

managed to finish this quilt up today- just a couple hours before going out to dinner with family- to give the quilt to the birthday girl (the newest teen in the family- my youngest granddaughter) she loves it! ate her dessert wrapped in it in the restaurant. :D so happy this one is done & gone- time to move forward. ;) the pictures don't really show the backing that great- it is pretty neat. and i'm showing a couple detail shots of the quilting in the border.

Wow! That is one incredibly amazing quilt. I've never seen anything that even slightly resembles the artwork in this.
