That is beautiful, now how did you do the scraf on the quilt. Great idea. Thanks for sharing.

I didn't invent it! It was in a pattern. You just sew the scarf in the shelf seam but leave it free hanging.

Great job on your wall quilt-love the food fabrics and how you did your lids.

debbieoh 08-14-2012 12:13 PM

Love it think I may jst copy it. I'm in a jar swap and was trying to think of a different way to use them.

stormwater 08-14-2012 12:21 PM

I loved the tablecloth! Just the thing to give the quilt it's own personality.

M.I.Late 08-14-2012 12:23 PM

That is so perfect for where you have it. Way cute!

Quiltlady330 08-14-2012 12:34 PM

Cool! He probably liked it because, not only is it beautiful, but, it also made him hungry, like it did me! LOL Kudos!

I love your wall hanging. It's so bright and cheerful.

Alondra 08-14-2012 05:28 PM

Love it! Your jars are great! Wish I had some of that fabric.

lfstamper 08-14-2012 05:41 PM

Perfect for that spot on your wall. Great job.

HillCountryGal 08-14-2012 05:54 PM

Really like this!
And you seem to have the perfect place for it too!

captlynhall 08-14-2012 06:06 PM

Love that. What a great little kitchen wall hanging. That would be good for gifts.

nls 08-14-2012 06:30 PM

A very cute wall quilt!

bearisgray 08-14-2012 06:32 PM

I like the different sized 'jars' you used. My Mom and MIL would save almost any glass jar and use it for canning!!!

#1piecemaker 08-14-2012 06:33 PM

Looks so real! I love the green beans!!

Monika 08-14-2012 06:57 PM

Neat. Told my daughter about a quilt like this. Going to make it for my grandson. I spy jars.

earthwalker 08-14-2012 10:18 PM

Very realistic....there's something about full jars that is so comforting.

Spuddy 08-15-2012 03:44 AM

That is so very clever and pretty.

Cuddly Quilter 08-15-2012 05:06 AM

What a beautiful idea and so perfect where you put it. Love the special touch with the triangle "tablecloth"

Chay 08-15-2012 05:27 AM

Love the napkin! I would have never thought of that, what a clever idea. Great job, that's a fun project. I love small projects like that.

mary705 08-15-2012 07:43 AM

Very awesome. It looks so real, like you have a built in shelf in that spot. Great job!

So clever. I have two throw sized jar quilts. One will hang in my kitchen when I get finished painting. The other is either going to my youngest daughter or daughter-in-law. I need to see if it will work in the son and dil's new house. I think they would like it.

PumpkinSundae 08-15-2012 08:55 AM

So very pretty!

Corky 08-15-2012 11:27 AM

Corky 08-15-2012 11:28 AM

Make sure you image google 'I spy' and 'jar' quilts. There are a lot of variations on the standard layout, including stacked smaller jars, books, escaping jar contents, fish bowls, etc. I love making these for family/friends newborns.

Floralfab 08-15-2012 01:32 PM

It is really cute. Goes great in your kitchen.
