Here is the finished "Sherbet Stars" quilt. It has 9 octos, surrounded by hexies. It is assembled and quilted qayg, I got a new fmq foot that doesn't hop, this won't win any awards but is the best fmq I've ever done, the border is quilted w/ my walking foot. It is fleece backed (pieced b/c I didn't have one piece big enough) and the backing fleece was brought forward for the binding. It is 74 x 74

That quilt top looks so complicated. Kudos for getting it done. With the way you did the back that looks like a fun quilt.

Great quilt! It looks so intricate. Do you have a picture of the original fabric?

This is the original fabric. I had something else in mind when I got it, but then the OBW facebook group had a challenge about using octos and hexies from the same fabric and the rest it history. lol
