The quilting design was what the pattern quilt had too. Sometimes simple is best! It really did give the quilt a richer look. I had planned to quilt it myself, but went and got pneumonia, so Julie came through for me...whew! It wasn't difficult to piece the quilt because I converted it to paper piecing. Otherwise I don't necessarily trust my accuracy, LOL. ;) |

I always thought of the quilting as the 'icing on the cake'. Your quilt is MORE beautiful after the quilting gave it some texture.

LOL! Chokkie for Breakfast... that reminds me of that Bill Cosby routine where he gives his kids cake for breakfast.
Mousie, my finished quilt was 62" x 62". I bought Lynda's pattern and then changed it to what I needed, which included making it into a paper piecing pattern. I think her quilt was bigger. |
