Lala land I love those table toppers. All of these are so imspiring I will get one done by next 4th of July.
But I did make a bunch of ab pillows for the patients to use at the hospital. I hope that counts a little.I just don't have a pic to post. darn. |
Oh and by the way I love so many of these beautiful quilts displayed I can't say which I like best. Great job people. True Ameican spirit still lives on.

These are two of the Quilts of Valor I have made that I've never posted. I did better in the second one and made the matching pillowcase. I don't know who the first one went to, but I know the recipient of the second one very well. He is a Vietnam vet and he said the quilt healed him.

Very nice quilts. I think I have made 3 orf 4 red/white and blue quilts for family reunions, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures to share. I'll have to be more vigilant about saving them in the future.

Here's one I have in progress. Still needs outer border. The pattern is called Pinwheel from Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett...which is a great book, all patterns using 2.5" strips. I recently posted pics of my sewing room and these blocks were on the design wall. The pattern doesn't call for sashing but my blocks were not all the same size. I lost some points here and there, but I like the overall look.
Thanks for starting this thread. |
