Hi it is made from cotton, yes there is a pattern, I'll have to find it. The center is all hand applique, it took me about 4 months to do,My fingers would get sore.

Love it! we had brittanies for years , my ex-husband was a hunter. Even tho' I couldn't care less that he's gone, I do miss the bird dogs/hunting/wild bird things he inspired.
